Emotional intelligence is a key predictor of success
Emotional intelligence is the strongest predictor of performance, more than IQ. It affects how we manage our behavior, navigate social complexities, and make personal decisions that achieve positive results.
This course begins with a discussion of the underpinnings of how stress affects emotion and how emotional intelligence increases your effectiveness. Participants will learn far-reaching mindfulness techniques that reduce stress, increase self and social awareness, self-regulation and ultimately deepen interpersonal relationships. Students will learn techniques that recondition the brain to find peace in times of challenge, to be more aware and to cultivate a higher level of executive functioning.
Approximately 50% of this course is actual practice. We will introduce techniques to recondition your response to negative triggers, which collapses negative biases/charges. The class will incorporate multiple practices which foster self and social awareness.
